How does this work?

 

SS Consulting Group is not and agency and we do not manage kids or adults. We are a consulting  company that uses it's many years of resources to help place you or your child with an agency that provides work in the acting and modeling industry.

What do I need to get started?

 We will need photos of you or your child to send out to a variety of talent agencies in South Florida.  

 

Do I have to pay SSCG monthly and when do I have to pay?

 

 There is a onetime consulting fee. We collect this fee before submitting you for any work and releasing your information to the agencies so they can contact you. 

 

If I'm successfully signed with a talent agency will I have to pay them also?

 

While there are no upfront fees to pay, once you have signed with an agency there will be a 10% commission fee from any money you earn. They don’t make money unless you / your child make money.

 

Do I need to buy a package for head shots to work?

 

If your child is under the age of 9 years old you should be able to take the pictures yourself. As part of our service we will teach you how to take good quality pictures and review them before you submit them to your agency.

 

If you are over the age of 9 you may need head shots from a professional photographer. If you’re a teen or an adult you will need head shots. We have a list of photographers that are responsibly priced that you may use if you choose.

 

Do I have to use a SSCG photographer?

 

No. You can use any photographer you like. We would like to see their work before you get any photos taken so we can make sure they’re going to be the right kind of photos. There are many styles of photography.

 

When will I/my child start working?

 

Once you are signed with an agency they will search their client data base for jobs that match you / your child’s description.

 

Once a match is made the agency will send you an email request to attend a casting with a location, date and time for you/your child to attend.

What will happen if I don’t want to attend the casting or can’t make it?

 

You are free to decline any job. No penalty. The client will have you / your child on a list to attend and will be expecting you to show.

You will need to let the agency know ASAP that you will not be attending the casting so they can inform the client.

What happens after the casting?

 

If you / your child have the look / style the client is looking for you will be notified via email or phone call that you / your child has booked the job.

 

 

Where will I be working?

 

Most of your work will be in Miami. Other times it may be in Orlando for Disney, Universal Studios or other clients.

 

 

What if I know longer want to model or act?

 

You will need to call your agency and let them know you no longer wish to be submitted for work. No penalty. No fees.
